Raw Pizza Wraps
These savory stuff-able wraps are definitely a treat. They are great for summer picnics or quick lunches. They are so versatile and can be stuffed with anything from kale salad to your any of your favorite raw veggies. They can even be used a thin crust for a raw pizza. Pictured below the wraps are stuffed with tahini massaged kale, zuchinni, and red bell peppers.
Equipment Needed:
Dehydrator
Ingredients:
5 1/2 cups zucchini (peeled and cubed)
2 1/2 cups ground flax seeds
6 medjool dates
5 sun-dried tomatoes
2 cups cherry tomatoes
3 tablespoons dried Italian seasoning or a few sprigs of fresh basil and oregano
Step 1:
Add water to high speed blender
Step 2:
Next add zucchini, cherry tomatoes, dates, ground flax seeds, & seasonings to blender
Step 3:
Blend until mixture is completely smooth. Note: Mixture should not be runny
Step 4:
Spread wrap mixture onto non-stick dehydrator sheets. Spread mixture thick and evenly for a flexible non-breakable wrap. Shown below.
Step 5:
Dehydrate at 115 degrees for about eight hours or until completely dry.
Step 6:
Remove from dehydrator and cut wraps into circles like traditional tortillas or just peel from sheets and use like taco shells.
Step 7:
Stuff wraps with your favorite salad, mushrooms, seed pate, or whatever your mind comes up with!
